The Storybook Coach ("we", "us") is maintained by Atlantic Cape Concepts. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and, if you provide it, a display name. We use this to sign you in and send account-related messages.
- Child profile info: a first name or nickname, age or reading level, and preferences you set. We use this only to personalize reading missions for your family.
- Reading activity: the books you enter, missions you generate, journal entries, and progress. This powers the journal, reports, and rewards.
- Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to help us improve the product. We do not sell this data.
- Payment info: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
How we use it
We use your information to run the service, personalize reading missions, generate journal and progress reports, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use children's data for advertising.
Children's privacy
The Storybook Coach is designed to be used by a parent or guardian on behalf of their child. Accounts are held by adults. We collect only the child information a parent chooses to enter to personalize the experience.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to operate the service, including our hosting platform, our database and authentication provider, AI model providers used to generate reading missions, and Stripe for payments. Each provider only receives the information required to perform its function.
Your choices
You can update or delete your account information at any time from your dashboard, or by contacting us at hello@thestorybookcoach.com.
